Test the shape, not the slide

Prototypes for the four strands

Each prototype here actually runs in the browser: real logic, real state, no server. They exist so a teacher, a partner or a curriculum officer can click through a SELution strand and say what is wrong with the design before anyone commits to a pilot.

Browser only. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored except your own local experiments. Any numbers shown are illustrative, not real measurement.

Unplugged coding runner

Write an arrow-card program on a floor grid, run the “robot”, and debug the wrong turns with the class. No device, no power.

Weight the domains that matter for a SELution pilot and see which countries have the most ground to make up.

How to run a useful test

Suggested protocol for a workshop

  1. Give one prototype to someone who does that job, with no explanation.
  2. Ask them to complete the task named at the top of the page while thinking aloud.
  3. Write down every place they hesitate, guess, or reach for something that is not there.
  4. Ask the question that matters: would this help you teach the strand better next week?
  5. Record what would have to be true for the answer to become yes. That is the real specification.
